£35 per person.

During your workshop/party, you will receive an introduction to using jewellery making tools, make a cherry keychain (in your choice of silver or gold colour) with guidance, and then have free reign to make whatever you would like. You can make necklaces, earrings, keychains, phone charms, bracelets, or anything else you can think of.

You will be shown plenty of examples to give you inspiration and ideas, so don’t worry if you’re not too sure what to make.

If you’ve got a specific theme in mind (such as plants, gothic, bridal, a particular colour, etc.) please let me know at least three weeks before your booking to give me time to try and get some specific beads and charms in for you to use. If you’ve got a Pinterest board, you can send me the link so I know what sort of charms and beads you’d like.

Payment: Before making any payment, please contact via email contact@brattybat.com to confirm the date and time you’d like. You may either make full payment once the date is confirmed or pay a 50% deposit. The further 50% is to be paid no later than 2 weeks before the date of the booking. If you cancel your booking, the deposit (whether paid on its own or as part of the entire booking payment) is non-refundable.

How to find the studio: The studio is located in Unit 1, The Old Wool Warehouse, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP333PH. It may be easier to put into your maps app ‘The Rehearsal Rooms’ or ‘The Hunter Club’ as these buildings are on either side. Once you arrive, you will see a door on the side of the building with a buzzer. Press the buzzer marked ‘Bratty Bat’ and I will let you in.

Getting to the studio: The studio is in the town centre so can be walked to from most estates in Bury St Edmunds. If you are coming by bus, the nearest stop is Old Covent Orchard on St Andrews Street South. You can also arrive by bus at the Bury St Edmunds Bus Station and walk just under 10 minutes to the studio. If you are arriving by car, parking is available at the Multi-Storey Car Park, the Cattle Market Car Park, or St Andrews Car Park (my personal recommendation as it tends to be cheaper). If you are being dropped off and don’t want to stop on the road, Waitrose car park works well. If you are arriving by taxi, ask for The Rehearsal Rooms or The Hunter Club. If arriving by train, it is about a 20 minute walk from the station.

Near the studio: The studio is in the town centre, just down the road from some nightclubs. There are lots of pubs, bars, and restaurants in the town if you want to head out to one after your jewellery party.

Access: The studio is located in a basement and only accessible by stairs.

Studio rules: 3-10 participants. You may bring your own drinks and cups to use in the studio but no food is to be consumed inside. No vaping or smoking inside. If you cause damage to the furniture, stock, jewellery supplies, etc. you may be asked to pay all or part of the replacement or repair cost. You are to stay in the guest area of the studio and not interfere with or touch the working area of the studio. There is no wifi but a semi-decent mobile data signal. The minimum age for participants is 14 and anyone younger than this may not enter the studio. This rule is to keep everyone safe as it is a working studio with chemicals and tools around. Groups of under 18s must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
